Sorry updates have been sparse - I've been in hospital and have left a (temporarily) one-handed typist, and prone to tiredness. The "daily" bulletins will become less frequent, as the protest moves to a new phase. Meanwhile I'm playing catch-up, a little bit at a time. Anyway, the (retrospective, I'm afraid) news of the day is the award of the main bypass contract to McAlpine. A nice Tory contractor for a nice Tory council. Bucks CC don't mind taking new Labour's cash, but they make sure it goes to their friends. |
