Whilst the focus of the protestors is the Soulbury Road area in Linslade, the contractors manage to fell six old oak trees above the A505/A418 roundabout, which is where the bypass is projected to end (not if we have our way). This isn't pipeline preparation, it's clearly intended to prevent more treehouses being built further along the bypass route. There's a significant intensification of security today: the helicopter visits again, and a larger number of security people. What did they do before video cameras? They record everything that moves, and quite a few things that don't. |
