Day 15, Monday 31st January 2005 |

Well at last it's out in the open. After apparently cordial talks with Bucks CC last Friday, the council served an injunction preventing any protest at all from taking place on the usual site on the Soulbury Road. The interim injunction was served at 1830 to persons unknown, and is due to expire at 1600 on Tuesday 1st February. |

This fine piece of duplicitous double-dealing by the council had to be replied to by 4pm today, if we were to stand any chance of resisting it - otherwise, it would automatically be renewed. The council gave us less than seven working hours to find lawyers, respond to their case and file papers. |

Hence the enforced near-silence from the website and mailing lists over the weekend: we did not wish to publicise the injunction, as that would be doing the council's dirty work for them. If you don't know about it, it doesn't affect you, but if you do... |

But tomorrow the case is being heard, so we're kicking off the day with a protest against the gagging order. |
